Final Container Distribution--We Hope!
Today is April 23, 2012, the day Doug sent the following email to all stakeholders of container #TTNU5421361. The container left Willmar on November 15, 2011 and arrived in the Port of Tema on January 23, 2012.

Greetings Friends of E-quip Africa,
The National Catholic Secretariat in Accra has resolved the issues which have held up the container. We are grateful to them and thank them for their difficult work. When you come to claim your items, please thank them kindly because without their work the costs of importing the container's contents would be very high. The only link left is to transport the container from Tema Harbor to the grounds of NCS in Accra. NCS now has their instructions that they should hire a reliable and familiar trucking firm, and E-quip Africa will reimburse them for that cost.
As soon as the container is safely inside the NCS compound, each of you will be notified and you may come to Accra to pick up your designated items. It would be good if you brought the commercial invoice I emailed back in November along. This will enable you to check off each item that has been allocated to your school or orphanage. If you no longer have that document, please reply and I can email it again very quickly.
The container contents are in various configurations:
--There is an automobile on board. This auto has some items in it for E-quip Africa’s assistants and they are labeled. Look in every possible space for them. Some are stuffed down inside the spare tires in the back, others are stuffed under seats and on the floor. The auto itself will be handled by Fr. Robert Hagan.
--Some items are loose and have a label on them—please find that label and sort them accordingly.
--We used a lot of used clothing to cushion the loose items. That clothing should be shared equally and can be used as gifts to those helping you unload or in any way you wish. The loose clothing does not have any labels.
--Most of the contents are in boxes with labels—please find that label and sort them accordingly.
--Some of you have items which are on palettes that are mixed with other peoples’ items. These will need to be opened, counted out and shared using your invoices to determine the numbers. Please do this equitably. Each recipient should get an equal number of fast computers, medium computers and slow computers.
--Please be sure to take only what has been designated for you so that everyone will be happy at the end of the day.
Please call or email if you have any questions or needs.
Sincerely,
Doug Wilkowske
